Since we had only been on shorter cruises, I was concerned about having two full days at sea.  But I appreciated those days since they were the first and last full days of the cruise.  The first sea day allowed us to explore the ship and unwind for the coming four days of ports.  The last sea day allowed us to relax before returning home and take care of all the pre-arrival requirements (packing, customs forms, etc.)

cayman0.jpg (158981 bytes) Our first port was Grand Cayman.  Although its most popular land attraction is Seven-Mile beach, we stayed in the city and checked out their next two top attractions: rum cakes and liquor.  We ended up with twice as much rum cake as expected due to a deal I could not refuse.  As for liquor, I went with the local Tortuga brand mango rum, which at only 40 proof is fine for shot glass sipping.  Most stores offer free samples of rum cake (which comes in a variety of "flavors") and various liquors.
