maya1.jpg (143621 bytes) Costa Maya, near Belize, was our next port.  There's a small town of about 500 a few miles away but the port is where most people stay. It features a pool with swim-up bar, a beach, and about two dozen stores.  We spent a few hours in the port and then went back to the ship after a couple returning from the town advised that there wasn't much there.
