IMG_1072.JPG (43856 bytes)At the San Telmo bridge, we had the choice of staying on the "north" side of the river and walking into the heart of the historic area or crossing the bridge and going into Triana.  We decided to explore Triana, which is well known for its ceramic shops.

Unfortunately, it was Saturday and most of the ceramic shops were closed.  But, we enjoyed excellent sights, shopping and a market, where we bought olives,  tomatoes and bread.

I found excellent casual leather shoes for $12. In a "five and dime" I found colorful espresso cups and an inquiry about a multi-cup discount brought an offer I could not refuse for the set of six.  I regret passing on a stovetop espresso maker,  never found more again, and ended paying more for one in the U.S.
