We spent just one full day in Phoenix, plus half a day before our return.  Our full day there, we hiked on a Sunday morning in South Mountain Park, the world's largest city park at almost 17,000 acres.   We then recuperated with an afternoon visit to Arizona Mills, a large outlet mall where, as luck would have it, I (not she) found many deals. Since all we had was a roll-on each, restraint was required!
