Mesa Verde

Just east of Hovenweep, in the southwest corner of Colorado, is Mesa Verde National Park.  It contains the most impressive and best preserved pre-Columbian cliff dwellings in the U.S.  Visiting Hovenweep is an appetizer to the main course of Mesa Verde (Spanish for green table).
