Goblin Valley State Park

The detour, which includes an unpaved access road, off Utah 24 between Capitol Reef and I-70 to visit Goblin Valley is a "must."  Here, erosion has created a surreal community of goblins unlike anything I've seen before.  During the time we were there, we were the only visitors - although as we left another vehicle arrived.
