Approaching Bryce Canyon from the south will first take you through Red Canyon, which gives you a nice preview, on a smaller scale, of what awaits you at Bryce.  A tour bus full of Japanese tourists were at red Rock when we arrived, and were snapping away.  Knowing what lay ahead, I only took a few photos.  Last trip, there was snow here, so I wanted some "clear weather" photos.

On our last trip to Bryce, it began snowing as we finished the Navajo trail, so we left early.  This trip we would be in Bryce for two days, giving us plenty of time for hiking.  Ouyr first hike was to combine the Navajo Trail with the Queen's Loop.
