During
Columbus Day weekend, DC burned with the green & gold spirit as over 80 alums gathered
at the Washington Court Hotel for the long anticipated Retro Reunion. Seventies
music, a curfew party, and even our own Malacanang Palace evoked the era. Mementos from our days in Manila were also there: balikbayan souvenier bags with cracker nuts & Ovalteenies, Reunion T-shirts, etc; a sari-sari selling such items as balisongs, Polo Club T-shirts & Yacht Club hats (big maraming salamat to Phil Adamson for sending us many of these items); and, of course, plenty of Manila's finest...San Miguel.
