| These photos are from my 1995 trip to Manila, the first (and so far the only) time I'e been back to the PI since leaving in 1970. It sure was an eye opener for Susie...and me too! Traffic is horrendous...it took us 40 minutes to get from the old Makati shopping center through the Bel-Air gates at Buendia and Paseo de Roxas, a drive I made in 15minutes when I was living there. Quite a bit of air pollution too. |

We passed up the Jollibee for the U.S. competition - this
2-story McDonald's on Session was a another surprise of the changing times. |
